San Francisco, California Activity
The Coit Tower, a San Francisco landmark, is a 210-foot tower, located a little more than 4 miles from Inn San Francisco on Telegraph Hill. An iconic part of the San Francisco skyline since its completion in 1933, the Coit Tower is also referred to as the Lillian Coit Memorial, homage to the woman who left a portion of her estate to her beloved San Francisco. Now on the United States National Register of Historical Places, guests can experience the beauty and story behind the tower, as well as the city it represents.
The fee for adults to go up in the tower is $7, with discounts for locals, seniors and children. Parking can be limited, but those interested in visiting can also experience a scenic hike by climbing up Telegraph Hill’s eastern slope via the Filbert Street stairs, which pass through gardens.
