Feel like a kid again in the Bay Area when you visit the Walt Disney Family Museum!
The museum is home to 10 galleries covering Disney’s impressive work, personal life, and his ability to bring magic to life with Disneyland and Disney World. There are also limited exhibitions on-site. Learn about the man that bravely entered Hollywood with only $40 to his name before enchanting America with Mickey Mouse.
The museum also has a café, run by Taste Catering & Event Planning, which offers light fare with seasonal flavors. There is both indoor and outdoor seating at the café where the outdoor patio overlooks the Presidio’s main parade grounds. The café is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
You may purchase tickets online. Adults are $20, seniors are $15, youth (aged 6 – 17) are $12, and children under the age of six are free. Active and retired military, their spouses and dependents receive free admission year-round with valid ID and the museum participates in the Blue Star Families program.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the last entry at 4:45 p.m. The Walt Disney Museum is open daily, except for Tuesdays, and has closures for New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
